Well, I made it! Postcards from Germany officially begins! I switch gears from staying in one place and walking everywhere (in Rome) to planes, trains and automobiles in Germany. The climate’s different too… it’s chillier here, so it’s layer up time.
I had a bunch of questions about what equipment I’m using on this trip – so let’s have a little gear chat. Here’s my quiver:

More Q&A from Rome! On deck today: 2 new Q&A videos from Rome, plus a new “Postcard” image!
What’s the deal with clouds? Valerie Jardin and I are besties, but differ in lots of areas. Like clouds! For me, a day like this one, taken at the Roman Forum, is heavenly.
2 New Q&A’s Today we started tackling some of the new, great questions you guys have been asking! THANK YOU for piping up! It’s really fun to share this experience with you to begin with… it’s made even better when we can answer some of the queries that inevitably occur to you when you follow…
Postcards From Rome: New Images! Right before I left on this trip, I was lucky enough to snag a Fujifilm X Pro 2 and Fujinon XF50-140mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR with 1.4x teleconverter. I’ve heard so much about this duo, I couldn’t wait to see what they produced.
